Adam is a difference maker for the a cappella vocal group. Never seen it duplicated to the level he provides HF.

So cool! First time I've ever heard him talking about it! Thx for asking and the share!

I'm afraid it wasn't my question originally, but it was buried on Facebook, and I thought more people should see it. The whole Whiskey Therapy Session is well worth watching, if you have FB - the link is in the description.

My daughter is now a budding HF fan and a massive Adam Rupp fan. She heard you do the harmonica thing you do. I asked her so what do you think about that. She said, it's nice I told her you were making that sound on your own. She's like Noooo way. Then you finished and she said, so where's the harmonica? Then she realized it was all you. She said I would pay to just see him do this for a whole show! Fantastic!

You mean YOU can do that! I couldn’t do that if my life depended on it lol. But I’m happy you can, because it adds so much to the songs you use it on. I can’t tell you how many reactors I have watched, and their mouths fell open when they heard you do that.🐝🤗❤️

I ALWAYS wanted to know how in the H3LL he did the harmononica...amazing...he must chase 1000's of random sounds in the world down and somehow capture and capture them inside his body... thank you for sharing this!!! LOL

You're welcome. It's the only time I know he talked on camera about it, and it was buried in a 40 min Facebook live chat from a couple of years ago, so I hoped it would be useful to make it more accessible.

Your harmonica sounds boggle my mind ! You are so talented
@johnnytdufc2 жыл бұрын
Would've been a bit more believable if he'd included a small bit of harmonica imitation sound right on the spot. I still think it's him, but in the man of constant sorrow song, the sound of the harmonica is quite startling for a human to make with only his voice. I believe him, I'd just prefer to see it again.
@gregjohnson96812 жыл бұрын
We were thinking he must’ve drove his parents a little crazy when he was a little boy making every sound under the sun, trains, gun battles, motor boats, animal sounds . He must’ve had a whole repertoire!

All I've ever heard of Adam actually singing is the brief, "It is well ..." section of "How Great Thou Art". Has he done other lead parts? I'd like to hear more of his non-beatbox voice.
@sallymaria2 жыл бұрын
He isn't very confident about singing lead, so you don't hear much. A line in Quarantine, one in My Country Tis of Thee and there's a VIP Little Saint Nick where he sings a verse...

@@sallymaria Thank you for your input, Sally!!

Did he just sing is auld lang sang and the harmony one that chance starts. Oh the name!!!!!!!
@@thompson1374 Yes, he's singing, just not singing lead. There are quite a number of 5-part harmonies where he does that.

I'm glad that I never wasted even more of my life by instead of just repeatedly listening to this, I eventually switched the subtitles on!- tT explain: I thought he'd said "Try an d sound like HARTMAN"! I was trying to sound like Gunney Hartmann from Full Metal Jacke and I got nowhere! When I switched on the subtitles read ""Try an d sound like CARTMAN" (rom Southpark)................. ........ it STILL didn't work! I have a suspicion the missing ingredient for myself is a considerable lack of talent, and for many others with talent, their not having Adam's level of talent.... and/or his (perhaps very unique) biology. :-)
