Takemura is a very professional ninja fighter. He supervised Oda's training, and Oda showed very great fighting abilities. With a simple analysis, Takemura will be much stronger than Oda, and Takemura's fighting performance will be more than great. It is not strange to me that Takemura is able to defeat Adam Smasher.

Oda's fighting style is the most badass thing in this game and I'm mad that you can't get his armor (especially the mask). I mean if I had to side with Arasaka to get the damn thing, I would do so.

I loved fighting Oda. Fit my melee only style well. Smasher was a let down though. I destroyed him with punches in a few seconds.

It was the opposite for me but Oda had me more on the edge of my seat. I only beat him without dying because a stupid glitch happened where he got stuck in midair.

Exactly, this is where that whole “They weren’t expecting people to optimize their builds” argument fails. Oda is part of the same storyline and even with optimized builds his fight is still fun and sometimes challenging unless you’re running a tech weapons build (Lizzie’s or Comrade’s Hammer eliminates all difficulty) There is no excuse for Smasher to be so lackluster and easy. He’s probably the slowest boss you fight and the most clunky, with his wide swings being so incredibly easy to dodge you’d be untouchable with even a common kerensikov (tested this had 3-4 reflexes (was slow asf all game) and the only time I got hit was from his little wrist gun, his missles only really get you if you let them.

I just realized how terrifying a boss fight Goro would have been. Goro was the better of the two, and Oda was a nightmare to fight. When he said let’s hope he was still quicker than Oda, that was without his implants. Let’s hope implies there’s a chance he was still faster.

What this video taught me is that Adam's damage needs to be MAJORLY beefed up. His punch/punch/shoot combo should be like taking a shotgun to the face for the third attack, and his individual cannon fire ought to do much more damage (similar to how quickly Oda just got mowed down by those rifle troopers).

Overall Adam just needs to be way more aggressive and tanky. The dude's supposed to be like a walking tank with a perfect psychopath piloting it. Instead what we end up with is the literal definition of "his bark is worse than his bite".

me as a hacker build, oda is a nightmare, smasher is annoying with those barrier attaque without any change of scape, i need to use ambient to keep me alive from that shit and will only with hacks... oda i not can tell you what makes me win, but for sure was totally harder

@@viniciusschadeck4992 I am impressed. The hacker twist would really help keep it manageable and lower the minion fights to less than a second or two. The issue is how do you twist them effectively into one beast?

@@michaelleader633 i just use the most damage hack, utiliy ones i just pick up after finishing thegame, i use the initial desk with i guess 4 or 3 hacks until finish the game LOL... after i bought a really powerfull one and have all options available at once, soo oda may are easy treat with that desk in use... i beat the game in very hard almost not using healling itens and without any major preparation to do it... i just shock everthing to death, i have used almost only 3 hacks... ping, shock damage and burn damage that eventually i shifted to poison one... that crap kill everthing in sigh in one use, amazing stuff

@@BLooDy21HD yes the solo ending is kind of hard depending on what builds your using. But can't go wrong with either Sandi or netrunner ( tetratonic rippler)

Tried it on my new game and in the middle it became boring, literally stay outside of a building and spamming quickhacks wasnt my style My mantis blades build made a good use in the final ending but if you got it with 0 clues about what you are going to face, you can get screwed anytime cause you get 1 shot by everything

@@BLooDy21HD that's why you need to get the implants ( don't remember the names unfortunately) one that gives back I think its 60 or 65 % of you health when it drops to 30% and the other one that is basically a second life , when you die you get back up full life but long cooldown. And also use the electric blades ( lots of robots in the solo ending ) and there is also another implant that when you get shocked it boosts you instead of taking dmg, which is very effective in the solo ending cuz when you slice and dice through the robot platoons the explode and shock you

i still have a very hard time understanding how V is supposed to be stronger than smasher. it seems to be chalked up to... well... its a video game and we needed a boss battle. i think they should have added a an extra side quest where the objective is to find some mcguffin that will make smasher more vulnerable. otherwise it just ends up being kinda silly that this literal tank on legs is taken down by V just because V is the main character of the story

i actually did have a harder time with Oda than Smasher. Mostly, though, because i was under leveled, and at that point in the game i was VASTLY underutilizing quickhacks and implants, so i would basically shoot half his health away, he would go into stealth mode, hide somewhere I couldnt find him, and regenerate most of his health before coming back at me again. It wasnt until after that boss fight that i really started to play through combat the way the devs intended.

Oda knocked me around for a while, I seriously struggled to defeat him. Died many many times. Adam Smasher on the other hand was a cake walk. I died once fighting him however, I put that done to luck on his part. Oda is the arasaka MVP

Oda showed great fighting abilities during the fight against V I think that Takemura, since he is the one who trained Oda, will be much stronger than Oda ! My Annihilation cold blood build wiped out Oda in less than 30 seconds. I genuinely didn't know he had all these cool moves cause he died as soon as the fight started. Adam didn't do much better either. He lasted a little bit longer than Oda since he has invisibility frames in patch 1.6, he still died in under 1:35, i don't think i've ever seen Adams melee since my build shreds him so fast. If he didn't have invisibility frames he'd die quicker than Oda.
