I grew habaneros a couple of years ago and made a couple gallons of hot sauce. I’m almost out of sauce and my heat tolerance has increased substantially There is no way I’d try that challenge; habanero is hot enough on its own! It’s not the mouth pain that gets you, it’s the smoldering fire in your gut a couple hours later!

@@ryanwatterson4038 most of my experience with chilies is with Thai food and their chili sauce. Sometimes it’s average heat and sometimes it’s all the stars! I agree the chili pain doesn’t last nearly as long as habanero in the gut! That said, I did the one chip challenge and while it didn’t burn my mouth too bad it got me bad a couple hours later!
