This concert was over a year ago, but I was very proud of it! I will have to do something similar again soon. Thank you for the kind words.

Manzanita is Spanish for "apple." Manzanito would be the masculine version or "boy" apple. 🍏

So many delightful pieces to enjoy it is difficult to choose a favorite. The "Under a Texas Moon" is one I had not heard before and it certainly is worth a listen by anyone who enjoys this style of music. Many of these compositions are in the obscure category so that means that they are rarely heard. Thank you Adam for bringing them to us and keeping them alive!

I love ragtime piano - mainly Joplin but others too (composers whose pieces I have learned from recordings but cannot identify or remember). I was about to comment that much of this concert gives me a ragtime 'vibe', when you identified yourself as a ragtime pianist - no real surprise! I also love the Tango work of Astor P though this is the first time I have heard tango in the solo piano setting. Great concert/ well done!

My rating is 6/10. Knowlegable interpretation is better than fancy playing. Perhaps I am wrong after playing and listening for 70 years.

Fabulous musician but sadly cheapened by the cheesy clothing.
