It was a challenging weekend for us at RedBud. It happens though. This stuff is still fun even when it doesn't go our way. Head down and we'll try again at Southwick this weekend! Filmed/Edited: @derek_quinones

You staying out there and finishing knowing you weren't going to get points speaks volumes about you. Many others, with names bigger and smaller than yours, would have pulled off knowing that staying out wouldn't get them anything. But you sticking it out... classy. Kit and bike looked awesome, and you'll rebound next weekend. Good luck and stay healthy out there!

Thanks for sharing this with us, Adam. As someone who was an athlete for 20 years all I can tell you is to enjoy every moment of the journey. Win or lose, as long as you can go to bed knowing you did your best, that's all you can do. Rest easy that you gave 100%. I have neuropathy in my right arm from 20 years of pro wrestling, so I totally understand what's happening with your arm, and yeah, it does suck! Good luck, bro!

Keep up the great work on the VLOG AC, you're a good role model! You have a great head on your shoulders and great output on everything. I tell my wife and kids all the time, control what you can control and move on from the rest. Like you said, don't forget it or not care about it; but annotate and move on to be better next time. I know your pain. I was racing back in the 80s and had a compound fracture of the right elbow for the second time which caused nerve damage to my right arm. Consequently this affected my hand so bad that I couldn't even make a fist, let alone hold on to the throttle grip. That was it.... my racing career was over . It took 5 plus year's before I had full use of my hand. I spent every other day in the gym trying to regain the strength in that arm and ended up being a British bodybuilding champion instead. 🏆 Medical treatment has come on a long way and advances in recovery and repair are far superior now. I'm sure that eventually you will get it sorted......Best of luck buddy, you've got a great talent for riding mx 👏

21:45 until the end of the video is the attitude of a champion Adam. As you know...”Attitude... 10% of what happens to me and and 90% of how I react to it. You are IN CHARGE of your attitude”. It’s coming and it’s coming soon brother!

Adam I hear you on the right hand stuff. Shattered my right wrist casing a jump in mid April. Got a plate and screws in there and am currently at around 11 weeks post op. Ortho said it was on the extreme end of serious breaks he's seen and at 47 years of age things are a little slow to heal. I too have limited grip strength (around 30-50%) and maybe 40% of my original range of motion (flexion/extension). I have been riding with a brace but being on the bike is rough as the wrist burns constantly while riding, BUT it does force me to really focus on proper technique. I'm WAY more conscious of what my feet and legs are doing since I can't tolerate gripping too hard with my hand lol. The freaky part is when the brain to hand connection seems to get broken and the brain tries but the hand just doesn't respond as the brain would expect. Makes me apprehensive to try the obstacles or push really for fear of my hand getting blown off the grip. There's also the concern of getting into a sketchy situation and being unable to muscle the bike...lol. The fact you guys ride at that level with these types of injuries (and worst) gets my respect! I appreciate the vlog Adam and love seeing the human side of how you guys spend your time in the pits.
