There was offensive pass interference on the previous play which was a 2 point attempt. They then decided to kick instead of going for two, so: Extra point kick = 15 yard line + 10 yard penalty + 10 yards for end zone + 7 yards to back up kick = 42 yards.

They would make the postseason for the first time in the 21st century (they did play the Titans in a Wild Card Game in 2000, but I don't count it as 2000 as it was in the 1999 season. That game is of course the Music City Miracle game.) Also I think Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, and Steve Tasker should've got Emmys for this game. Especially Tasker, who was a big part of the game coverage as it was in really bad weather.
