Adam Wainwright 'at peace' as MLB journey nears an end

He’s the last of the Cardinals I grew up watching. I was 13 when he came to the organization. I hate to see it come to an end. Saying bye to him is saying bye to the last bit of my STL Cardinal childhood. Thank you, thank you, thank you Adam. An all time Cardinal great, but even greater human being.

I could cry brother.... Never wanted you to retire. Lol It's been so great and fun to watch Adam all these years. He's a true professional. A real ACE!! I'm so proud of Adam and happy on a high note on his best performance of the year with 200 wins... Adam is my favorite baseball player of all time and I'm really going to miss him. 😢😢 It really is saddening to me that this is coming to an end... When Adam pitches it's like a holiday in my life. 😂😂 I get really excited about it. 😊 Mannnnnnnnn, I honestly didn't think I would be this sad about it. Damn... I don't know why they can't just let him play the whole game because last two games at DH. Let us get all of Waino that we can man..... please!!
