As a user of ascended 5* Adam I totally agree with you. It can be so annoying knowing that the champ is so good and can be so slow and frustrating at the same time, also, when you get intercepted by the AI is the worst feeling ever because you don’t just lose the counter but you are fragile (or it feels that way sometimes) Edit: The change I would to him is two options: 1) Add an infuriate to his kit instead of taunt, wich it gives him increased chance of intercept and AI throwing specials 2) When he gets 20+ or 25+ charges he should unstoppable to avoid losing the charges when you get intercepted, just like Galan harvest he gains regen and unstopp to better oppenings

Yeah this video got really negative really fast. Honestly feels like a rant a bit. I’m just really frustrated with how he was treated in todays rebalance info and disagree strongly with many of the points made. If you love Adam I can’t blame you but he frustrates me too much that I can’t think of the fun fights a lot at least for now. Maybe he’ll grow on mea but with more time, we’ll see, but for now I just don’t have a desire to play him as is Also he’s not necessarily trash like the thumbnail might say, clickbait moment

New Adam players don’t use this trick, but if you see the opponent being passive or you wiff an intercept, just manually tap the pod to give yourself a guaranteed opening in case stuff like that happens. I have r4 sig 200 Adam no regrets

I said it in another comment but as someone who play him a lot, there is only one change that would change my life playing this champ, and that would be to be stun immune when in the stasis pod.... The AI reliance can't be changed for obvious reason but the fact that a lot of champions and nodes can just stun you when you are in your pod after the special 2 is absurd... Shoker for exemple because you fight him in this video is a great exemple, if this dude throw a special 1 just after your special 2, he can just stun you while you can't dodge it then kill you. It shouldn't be possible So many champs can stun with specials and if you add nodes, it become even more absurd... Ihulk, hulk, shocker, red skull, every champs in abyss or lol or even rol, darkhawk, ronan, spidey stark, domino, cap iw, ect... Seriously, just making him stun immune when in pod would be a life changer

I agree that he can be frustrating, totally true for everyone. But I would recommend practicing a bit more and maybe looking into his sig. The sig really helps get openings by stunning them if they hit your pod. It also makes him more sustainable with his smaller health pool. I would also be less afraid of the SP1. I use the SP1 more than the SP2 for that stun after 20 sovereign charges. It basically guarantees that you’ll get a 40 combo. The opponent will usually throw their special after you do the SP1 and a combo, and if they don’t you can double tap for that pod. I really don’t think he needed rebalanced and he truly doesn’t need perfect AI. Even with that nimrod fight you had recovered pretty well! I think once you get a hang of him you’ll enjoy him much more

We only need an infurate instead of a taunt between every bar of power or removing the taunt for infurate and that's it. The taunt is not that good when you realizad that you need ramp up first the opponent's bar of power (similar to Cassie Lang) and then hit on block. And yet, the taunt for intercepts and all that stuff sometimes is not working as indeed and the infurate does. Hercules and Mantis got every SP launched when the infurate is on so why don't just give him that non damaging debuff wich works better? 🤨

Counters power burn, immune to nullify/fate seal/stagger, can become immune to all energy based dot with the pod, and the pod is basically a great piece of utility on its own. He has some solid utility lmao

@@assumedname1312 Well your comment was 3 months ago, but a ton of great players have shown how to keep his sovereignty up pretty easily for most fights. BmCG and Nagase are big ones, and you rarely lose your counter if you can make good decisions fast

When competing for resources in a class with cgr herc etc who has much less risk to use AW is an unnecessary risk. He takes much higher risky play for not enough damage compared to others mentioned. His rampup to medium damage isn't hard yet it fails in comparison to Gamora who is way easier to use and has devastating damage and even utility

Yeah. The Adam complaining is a little annoying. He’s a monster of a champion that sometimes can take some doing. But it honestly doesn’t even feel all that bad when you lose the charges. Sometimes it’s not gonna work out perfectly. But when it does, barely anyone is better

As someone with a r5 (soon ascended) Adam I feel like the ai for me works really well. I rarely lose my counter due to the ai. With someone who does as much damage as he does i feel like drawbacks such as that is needed.

Compared to draw backs like cgr dex buff .. herc immortality not blocking out sp3 damage , like invisible woman locking 1 hit and loosing all build up. All Champs have draw backs ,just have to play around it or not use them.

I am using adam in bg and he is alot better than corvus. I have both of them and corvus isn't valuable now. I'd rather use adam, herc, hulking. Adam finished fights faster than corvus for me and he us a better defender than corvus. Corvus relies on boosts without that he is shit in long fights

Ckrvus is great but without boosts I am not using him i used to use him alot but after I got cgr and herc I just don't need him also corvus isn't valuable anymore for my account. Adam is way more fun and way better
