That's how car guys should behave. Just chill out, give people time to look at your car, show that you are respectful with the machine and the people around (although a small acceleration can be enjoyable if it is safe to do so) Hopefully this will make a good impression to non-car people telling them that we just want to have a good time living our passion. It's not a new phenomenon, but one of the issues is the cars available with big power available on finance to inexperienced drivers. Years ago you mostly got 1 litre Fiestas with about 80bhp, so burnouts had to be done by everyone pushing on a car. I used to have a 70 Nova with a built 327 cubic inch V8 and dual 3 inch exhaust, and the noise it made was exquisite, these modern cars may put out some power but the noise is lackluster in comparison. its like comparing the sound of a house cat and a wild lion, my nova roared.
