My vote: should’ve said something innocuous to the girl after the Whoopsie, something like “you better grab that, someone could slip on it, I’ll take one and you take the other” and make it a team effort to find somewhere to throw it out. I wouldn’t go back later when you see the mom though, teaching moment has passed and princess wont grasp it, she already forgot all about it. As for the butter, girls should know there is French toast butter, grabbed that THEN refilled from the back. It’s ridiculous you had to source your own.
