What I love is that this knife has been in production since 1981 it is a authentic genuine Glock knife and not a knife that Glock had their names stamped On 24 a couple of years this was actually made by block and I am glad to be the owner of one knowing that I can own an actual block under 40 bucks it's absolutely beautiful and now that I live in the great state of Texas I can carry my little buddy wherever I want and not have to worry about getting in trouble God bless Texas

As someone who has practiced throwing this particular tool for many countless hours I can tell I'm not the only one! That's some fine blade slinging! Wish I had three of them LOL I had two Clues that this was a great knife when I got it. 1 it said glock on it, and 2 it stopped a handloaded round from my 220 swift (3890 fps) dead in its tracks

Hey Adam, thanks for the video. Your video has made me to purchase a glock knife last week, got my in Ebay purchased Glock Knife today. Went straight into the forrest and practiced throwing according to your instructions. No spin technique distance 2 meters worked the best, 80% stuck in the death tree trunk, 20% bounced off or bounced back 😅. Half spin and full spin worked only well in 20% of my throwings. But I am very pleased with my no spin success rate. Additionally I have bought a GI Tanto Knife from cold steel. It is a bit bigger and heavier than the Glock Knife and due to its heavier weight it is excellent for practicing throwing and it penetrates far deeper than the Glock does.

The 78 is the best production combat blade made in the last 30 years . Super strong - edge retention is awesome - perfect balance and the geometry is perfect for punching holes in people wearing heavy clothing and military web gear . Get some nylon seat belt material and make your own shoulder holster for upside down carry . Once you get used to using the end of your forefinger to lift the retention on the sheath = awesome . Perfect under a light shirt or suit jacket . Carried by special forces and persona protection details all over the world . Thanks again Mr. Celadin ---> You Rock

Question bro ... I am no Knife-Thrower ... maybe a few times in life ... certainly not you - I am just curious ... let's assume you were throwing the "Survival" version of these knives, with the saw-tooth-spine made for "root cutting" or sawing stuff etc. - does that have any affect on the throwing performance/technique/results/accuracy etc.? I don't see it having any real serious effect but you're the expert & Champ etc. so I figured I might ask your opinion. Thanks bruv!

It gives you less options because saw can cut you but otherwise it's the same

@@AdamCeladin Roger that, thank you very much brother... Actually just got two of them... I got one for my Dad and actually I loved it so much I got another for myself ... I'm in the States , one thing I have noticed is that for the last month or even more, none of them available on Amazon are the "regular" version (like you use) - every one I could find was the saw-back version. Which is fine for me, but I'd probably prefer the regular. Again thank you bro for taking the time to respond!

Great review. I was wondering if the fact that the blade do not go all the way through the handle makes it fragile for beginners ?

You won't hurt anything I got mine 2 weeks ago Glock 81 off Amazon and been throwing every day either after or before work (17 and out of school with nothing better to do) and I have missed A LOT it is still great only couple little chips in handle that you can only see not notice in your hand ordered 3 more so 3 to throw and 1 to carry I found you can break retention clip off and conceal carry it really well inside waist band

@CalgrenCz8 жыл бұрын
There are no specific restrictions or laws about knives here in The Czech Republic. Of course you can't just throw a knife in some city. But no problem if you do it somewhere without that many people. Unless you hurt someone with it of course, then it is considered as a crime of negligence.

@pavelzarezavac35796 жыл бұрын

I think I know the answer to this question, but what do you feel about using throwing knives in a hunting/combat situation? I purely throw knives for sport and have no intent on doing otherwise, but I've seen some people talk as if throwing a knife is a somewhat viable tactic. I do not think It would be, but I'm a stupid city boy. I don't know much about that stuff aside from maybe a little bushcraft

@@AdamCeladin There are two ways. The most usual is to take the grip and press the pawl with your thumb slightly diagonal so it releases the knife. The other way, my preferred, is to hook with the index finger under the bent part of the rapier (don't know wether this is the right term) and open the pawl with my thumb. Then I take the grip. It's very easy if you are wearing it, as a right hander, on the right side.
