But he doesnt have the most wins.....what I hear all the time. Its amazing how many people can't wrap their heads around the fact that fastest/most talented doesnt always win the most. Just ask Damon Bradshaw about his 14 of 16 supercross wins that resulted in 2nd place in the series. His worst enemy was himself. He was oftentimes too fast for conditions. I had the privilege to see him on 125s, 250s and 450s @ hangtown and washougal. His dominance on the #259 125 Kawi was a sight to behold.

Wrong. Carmichael roosted his ass fair and square. Then Stewart got in his own head when Dungey found the throttle, and disappeared off the map forever because he couldn't handle losing. (Hints the video we just watched).

This is nothing but pure hommage. Legend. AC must really look up to Stew. It's sad because you don't hear a lot of current pros talk about or compliment the former pros, the guys they used to want to be like. It isn't a bad thing that Adam get compared a lot to TP199 either, because next to Shorty, TP199 was the friendliest guy in the pits. AC is the closest we got to that, and we don't even have to put up with backflips ;)

I have been in the motox industry since 1970 and believe me these guys are always talking about the past star's riders! And a lot of the older riders are at the races and practices/meetings. Some of the nicest men on the planet and a lot of them can still throw a leg over and still rip!

I had the privilege of racing the winter-ams in 1999 when he was racing super-minis. I was racing 250B and school-boy. He was the fastest person at each event, hands down. At Dade city he was scrubbing some of the rollers on the front part of the track and railing single rut berms on the pegs wide open. We were all just standing there with our mouths hanging open. Legendary.
