I think it's incredible how Richard Dawson met his future wife Gretchen on this episode! They were the perfect couple and they very easily fell in love with one another! It's so sad that Richard is gone now. He was the best host Family Feud ever had and he will be dearly missed forever. Rest In Peace Richard Dawson! ~Dutch

Richard reported on his return tp the show in 94? Shannon (his n Gretchens daughter who was 3 yo at the time) saw older shows and told her Daddy he could only kiss 2 girls, she and her Mommy. :)

Yes, I wonder if she REALLY had a wardrobe malfunction when she was at the stand or if that was part of the plan to get into Dawson's head. Maybe she did, but given what transpired, I have to wonder. Wendy was certainly quite charming, personable, and beautiful.

Can't stop true love. It's a feeling. The connection had already been made. Did you hear that the first time he tried to call her, he dialed the wrong number? The wrong number kept making him repeat that he was the real Richard Dawson before they told him there was no Gretchen there. Lol.
