I wish our culture and society valued great talent like yours more. You should be one of the most in-demand live pianists in the world.

Is there anything more wholesome or charming than an Adam Swanson piano concert?

Wow! I am blown away by your talent! My son is a very talented pianist and plays classical, jazz, and pop tunes - by note and by ear. He also composes, transcribes music for singers and musicians, coaches opera singers, and teaches at Brooklyn College in NY. He freelances in NY. He used to transpose classical tunes to ragtime when he was about 10 years old. He won’t do it anymore. He’s on KZbin, also. You remind me of him so much! Christopher Cooley. While living in Lithuania, he was in a trio called Karta Amerkoj, which I love listening to also. I am listening to your concerts every night - I have lots to catch up on since I just found you. I can’t contribute now, but will soon!

I love "Cocktails for Two." The way Adam performs it reminds me of the recording by Johnny Green on the Brunswick label. I bet not too many people remember that Felix Unger sang it on "The Odd Couple!"

That was an excellent concert, Adam! Thanks so much :) I wasn’t able to catch all of it live, but it sure made my Monday morning at work much nicer :) See you in a couple of weeks!

Absolutely brilliant, your playing has been a life changing inspiration for me. I started playing a few years ago and have now learned many ragtime pieces. The videos I‘ve seen of you playing and playing with Tom Brier on The Charleston was some of the best piano I’ve ever heard.

Liberace sang his theme and played the piano very softly. He also used a slightly shorter tempo than your arrangement.Usually he had an orchestral accompaniment. You can see on KZbin…..
