When I was looking to book for July 2024 around September they had their room credit deal on. Depending on the resort depended how much you got and you can use this credit in the parks for food and or merchandise. I had this for my July 2023 trip so I knew that as soon as that offer finished there should be a room price reduction.This happened in November 2023 and I saved £500 on my 9 night trip staying at Pop Century, with tickets and Quick Serve dining plan. If I had picked say Coronado Springs although more expensive I would have saved more on the previous offer, BUT the Skyliner is such a great way to travel that it had to be Pop

Flights, meals included, transfers to and from the airport, staying in disneys all star movies resort, 14 days Disney tickets and universal tickets including upto $700 dining, $200 gift card and something else for £2621pp! Adam I have just come back and the dining reservations are for the first 10 days of your holiday not for the full 14 days. This was also true when I was there in 2022. I always ring on the 60 days out and book all I can but they will only let you go for the first 10 Days. After that those last 4 days are released one day at a time

Finally someone's saying it. Dining plan is not any value for UK guests. 2a 2c (£49.99 per adults, £19.99 per child) today £139.96 @ $1.26 to £ = $176.xx. We were somewhere between $65 and $80 per quick service meal last year, and definitely didn't feel like 2x qs meals for 14 days straight. Might as well pay as you go, there's no way we spent ($176x14) $2464 on food. And bear I mind the exchange rate could go up as well as down, so imagine that at $1.30 - $1.35. Disney need a head wobble, and more perks for on site guests

If I could afford to get a Savannah room at AK lodge, I would absolutly chooses that. Who doesn't want to wake up to zebras and giraffes. I would never stay at a value resort again. The Holiday Inn Disney Springs cost me a little less than the All Stars and was a little nicer and bigger rooms. They still came with the extra time inbthe parks, it was walking distance to Disney Springs, and the bus was faster than the Disney busses. I go in late November, early December so Idk if it is as great in peak season, but it was so lovely I would choose it every time. Also I found that I broke about even on the dining plan if I were to still buy everything I get when I am on the plan. We don't get the most expensive options to maximize our savings, but I did find myself not getting things I wanted bc I didn't want to pay for them without the plan. I like it so that my experience is more all inclusive. I also load up on gift cards so it feels more like when I am on DCL and can just get a few souvenirs without worrying so much about cost.

I agree absolutely the dining plan because I’m not a daily drinker. The plan includes an alcoholic drink at both meals for guests over 21. I might have two or three drinks over the course of the week so prepaying for two each day does not make sense for me.
