When Roger Taylor and Brian May asked him to join Queen after he won his competition Adam honoured Freddie Mercury in much the same way . I'm a straight guy. I love this guy. He has a lot of class. This is what a parent gets when they love their kid for who they are. I listen to this everyday since I broke up. I’ve watched this video so many times and it’s just incredible, Adam really took the lyrics on and portrayed them exactly how Cher meant them beyond the pop ballad it is. Just watch the look on Reba McEntire’s face and it tells you everything, the queen of country listening so intensely to the story he’s telling. Adam commanded that room and showed Cher that not only he respected her music but her artistry
