Yeah those BMW Gweebo's are something. I ran mine without a Plumbus once and it ran dry of Schleem and with the shortage of Dinglebop's and Grumbo's it was a nightmare trying to get more Fleeb to rub against. So yeah I agree with Adam here about running a Delay Valve because otherwise it will 100% wreck your Gweebo.

@@WhuDhat open to correction if I’m wrong, but essentially on E36s unplugging the MAF puts the car into a default AFR mode since it can’t compare O2 readings at the MAF with the oxygen sensors and if the car starts to idle better after unplugging it you know your MAF is bad. Usually people do this when chasing the infamous P1071 and P1074 codes for a vacuum leak which on E36s can actually be like 10 different things. Couple that with the fact that every single cheap non OEM MAF for them basically doesn’t work right out of the box yet people still buy them and wonder why they have issues.. and you get why the meme forms. “Have you tried unplugging the MAF?” Basically like a Windows tech saying: “have you tried restarting it?”

Use a electric power bleeder. We use it at the shop at least 2-3 times a week. Going on about 5-6yr with no issues. Recommend power probe brand. 👍
