Great ident review, Adam! These BBC Scotland idents are really nice, like the BBC Two "Curve" idents from 2018 - present, and the concept of the logo being filled with colour in each ident is nice. The logo design for BBC Scotland looks like the Screen Gems logo, the one that you see at the end of _Bewitched,_ and is simple, yet an great one, and it's a decent representation of the "S" from Scotland. My favourite ident would be the "Butterflies" one, because it's one of the nicest idents for a British television I've ever seen, along with the BBC Two "Curve" idents.

After viewing the BBC Two & Scotland's idents, I have something in my mind. What if BBC One's idents were rebranded, say, to be like the BBC Two & Scotland ones? What kind of framework symbol or things would it have in the ident? A blank sphere? Refreshed versions of the old BBC globe? Or just a view of space things, like planets & stars? I'm not sure yet, since I've been picturing this in my head for a while now.

you forgot the special ident that was used on 9th April 2021 the BBC SCOTLAND diamond standing in front of Buckingham Palace the diamond had blood in it and people were putting flowers on the gates of Buckingham Palace that ident was used because of prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh has 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

No, really, the logo is based on the map of Scotland. Caithness and Sutherland at the top, lowlands at the bottom, feck-off great rivers and lochs in the middle.

I think the shape of the channel logo is meant to be emblematic of the shape of the country. Compare with the BBC Scotland logo: logos.fandom.com/wiki/BBC_Scotland

You're referring to BBC One and Two NI, Scotland also has regional versions of BBC One and Two, but this is a completely different channel that launched in February of this year
