All 20 episodes of our latest marathon, now compiled into one 80 minute extravaganza!
Between 2002 and 2006, the Rhythm and Movement idents represented BBC One. It was a time of change, and as the world was still finding its feet within the 21st Century, the then-new idents for the BBC's flagship channel were viewed as quite the departure indeed! From Capoeira to Christmas, from special regional sequences to parodies of the era, we take an in-depth look at one of the most divisive ident sets of the BBC's history, Rhythm and Movement!
The Ident Review Extra began in the April of 2020 and embarks on marathons of several different ident sets from different channels! It's covered the 90s set from BBC2 and all of the different ITV regions, but now we're going through the Rhythm & Movement idents from BBC One!

@AdamMartyn 'Tumbler' was not filmed at Pebble Mill, it was actually The Brunswick Centre in near Russell Square tube in London. You can see the Renoir cinema in the background.

Tango, Acrobats, Tai-Chi and Skateboarders are my favourites from the set honestly, they are fantastic idents. I love the piano arrangement of the then BBC One jingle on Skateboarders, it's so soothing to listen to, along with Ballet and Tai-Chi. 😌 I generally do like this set of idents and fondly remember most of them. 😊

The hosts of The One Show are Adrian and Christine 2006-2010 before Daybreak show Adrian left in 2010 to concentrate on Daybreak and ITV Sports Football coverage. Christine left in 2010 to concentrate on being a Loose Woman in late10s.
