Oh I know, I have the platinum in all MGS games ( well almost all I haven't played Revengeance ) and I agree about MGS2 although getting the big boss emblem in MGS4 is more than just time consuming it requires key knowledge on enemy A.I, placement, boss weaknesses and of course great use of your non lethal arsenal(which means skill)

One thing that goes under appreciated in Adam’s videos is his ability for contextual storytelling. Even as somebody who has never played MGS4, I can immediately get a grasp on everything happening in each scene thanks to Adam’s ability to fill in the blanks with his script writing. Amazing work!

One of my favorite things about the MGS series has always been the replay value of the games. I still have a memory card in the attic somewhere with all Sons of Liberty dog tags on each level of difficulty. MGS4 is easily my favorite game of the series. So many subtleties and attention to detail that has always left me disappointed when playing other games. Amazing work! New sub!

Could explain why the platinum requirements on this one is so high, given that the only people still playing it were the hardcore fans.

The mgs Saga is my favourite one, and this video did bring back some memories i forgot i had. I had only played this game once before back when I was 8 when it came out and never got past the first part lol. After playing it almost 2 decades later, MGS4 is definitely one of my favorite games, not as good as 2 or 3, but it’s definitely a great game, this game gets too much hate!

Just stumbled across this video in my recommended as I look to watch something during work. Man this is so entertaining, great job! Just finished the MGS3 platinum and watched your video of it, now watching this one to prepare myself when I try the MGS4 platinum, I just beat it some weeks ago. Man, the Assassin run and Big Boss run looks more fun than all the other 6 playthroughs combined haha. Those videos are very fun. also poor sunny 45:11

I just wanted to comment and say this has to be one of my favorite videos on KZbin. Its oddly inspiring for me and made me seek out the platinum for mgs 4 myself which I achieved! This video perfectly shows how fun draining and miserable at times this trophy is to get along with having to do an extra playthrough because of human error (i also had to 😅) This is my favorite Metal Gear Solid which may be an unpopular opinion, but my love for this game, its story characters, and gameplay will stick with me for years to come. Wow, this video was entertaining af. It didn’t feel like 50 minues. More than 10 to 15 minutes. But always premium quality. I felt your pain from my comfortable chair (while playing Immortals: Fenyx rising for the 2nd time because an end game trophy bugged). I have no connection to MGS in any shape o’ form (other than playing MSG V for a few hours and found out that it is not my cup of tea). But this Platinum journey was captivating from start to finish. Congrats Adam! Definitely should be proud for earning MGS4 platinum trophy. I earned this platinum trophy about 10 years ago when the trophy patch came for MGS4. It was a fun challenge for me and I wish could re-earn all MGS platinum trophies again on my main account; Get me some MGS 2-4 Remasters for PS4 or PS5!!
