Beautiful, touching presentation. I’m so touched by these men, their story and bravery and their contribution. Equally, their families are to be remembered, too, for their contribution and loss. These human interest stories show what the war really was, who it affected and how we must never, ever forget.

Can you imagine that there were others much like the men of Battery B on the other side? Those men of Battery B were the victims of a horrible deception. So also were the families that they left behind. Even worse victims were the Confederate soldiers defending their country who were killed or maimed by Battery B's shot and shell. The bloody war was stupid and tragic. It happened because evil men in the national government wanted it to happen and did what it would take to bring it about.

My Dad and I are heading to Gettysburg in 3 days from now. We are driving from Indiana. I'm here to soak up all the information I can beforehand. Also, I am taking along as a companion resource the book by William A. Frassanito "Gettysburg A Journey In Time" I look forward very much to spending time in Adams County Pennsylvania.
