Illusion faintly rings a bell. I might have heard of them back in 1978, but I don't think they got airplay on the local rock stations, who were of course playing a lot of Van Halen and AC/DC in 1978. I'm glad I discovered them here! Thankyou for posting!

I have always felt that Illusion (also in their original form as Renaissance Mk1) were the better of the two main bands to form out of the wreckage of The Yardbirds. Given that the other was Led Zeppelin, this says a lot. I have both their albums and this gorgeous song is typical of what they did. Quite brilliant.

I've said the same thing except Led Zep is a titan proto-metal band, and Illusion is the better incarnation of Renaissance a prog band. Renaissance is a phenomenal band in their own right, but this is a superb blend of folk, pop, and choral. A real one of a kind experience.

i have all Rennaisance and Illusion albums on Vinal. it's my treat to listen to both groups. i Think Annie was great but Jane was underrated. i could and probably never will have a favorite. Isadora by Illusion is amazing.

hey grosser - warst Du früher etwa Sound-gänger ? Dein Posting is ja nu schon ewig her, aber ok. Du kannst im Netz zu 95% alle Musike finden bzw. wieder finden und das macht ein heiden Spaß. Ich hab im laufe der Jahrzehnte ZWEIMAL meine WAHNSINNS Plattensammlung verloren (geklaut) nu, hab im laufe der Zeit alles wieder gefunden und, läuft 😍

@Rocco297 Gerade stelle ich fest, dass in 2009 noch eine dritte "Platte" veröffentlicht wurde, diesmal gleich als CD. Der Titel lautet "Enchanted Caress". Angeblich stammen die Aufnahmen aus den Jahren der beiden ersten LP's. Die Qualität der Kompositionen erreicht nach meinem Geschmack leider nicht das Niveau der ersten beiden Platten.

@Rocco297 Mittlerweile hast Du es sicher schon mitbekommen, dass es beide LP's auf CD gibt. Zunächst gab es beide LP's auf einer CD. Inzwischen gibt es sogar remasterte Versionen beider LP's. Findest Du problemlos beim größten Internet-Musikhändler....
