Very useful mate, thank you. My only real critique was that I thought the still images you used were slightly jarring. I think this may be due to the fact everything else has a natural handheld movement and they're static. I love your videos though. Tbh I wish I had that instinct for narrative that you do. I booked a few weddings last year and more this year but I don't really find any creative fulfilment from doing them... I've thought about not taking any more bookings, but we'll see. Anyway, I'll keep tuning in for this series!

Cheers mate, sometimes they work better the others. I love shooting people and the live environment so weddings are my ideal 👌

Are you on a monopod during ceremony/toasts? I would think your hands would get really shaky holding the camera by itself after awhile? I'm still working towards minimalism and every time I do my work gets better. So thanks man.

yes monopod for ceremony and toasts, handheld for everything else. Great to hear mate! the more we focus on the shot, and less on the gear the better we get.

Really good video! Take away point for me....using audio to blend non-chronalogical clips! Weirdly, would love to have one of my films critiqued, as I am still fairly new to this!

Really enjoyed you talking about some bts of that wedding day and how / why you made such visual and edting choices! Thanks for that mate! Also - I really like your color pallete, which PP do you use and how much time do you spend od color correcting and grading? Cheers!
@AdamWingFilms
@AdamWingFilms 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot my friend! I use PP1 on the Sony’s, film convert for grading. Literally takes 2 minutes to grade a film
@Kisiellox
@Kisiellox 5 жыл бұрын
@@AdamWingFilms wow, 2 minutes that's crazy :D I feel I spend too much time on correcting and balancing each individal shot. Do you think that the couple really see and care about that little tweaks or is it just our tendency to be a perfectionist? BTW how the Croatia shoot went? :) Cheers!
@AdamWingFilms
@AdamWingFilms 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah exactly, I don’t believe couples see or care about a slight change in grade haha. It was mega thanks. Film content to come soon
