On August 8th 2018 in the system of X47L-Q, a supercapital battle resulted in roughly 2.3 trillion ISK destroyed & a Northern Bloc Keepstar down.
The stage was set for this action in a engagement on the 1st of August, which saw the reinforcement of the Keepstar’s armour and the destruction of ~10 trillion ISK in assets.
Unlike that first action over the Keepstar, Legacy & Pandemic Legion pre-moved the majority of their super wings from the south to aid their allies. Legacy supported the Imperium. Pandemic Legion rejoined their friends in the Northern Bloc.

yeah , but it would have been better if it was a fair fight , i mean NC got DC , and we can see it on Battlereport it's not "normal" that they suffer all theses lost when Imperium and Legacy suffered 0 loose , in fight like this both side sustain hard lose , it's obvious that disconnection fcked them up , and it's not cool .. (i don't like PL and Goons so my opinion is objectif )

Both sides had massive d/c's and some even up to 5 times wich could take 20 to 40 minutes to log back in. And tactics were wrong for Panfam. Panfam choosed the tactical advantage of dropping instead of having grid loaded wich always is a risky in wich you will suffer initial losses as hardeners and reps take alot of time to catchup when 350 titans are locked and load on grid. PL dropped their titans out of range for DD's so Panfam lost a fuckton of firepower at the start of the fight for a really long time. Imperium comm's were DDOS'd and 1900 pilots lost communication with the FC's. Panfam made really dick move by jumping in 600 ECM burst frigates wich were totaly useless and caused a fcton of stress to the server and perhaps made alot of pilots on both sides disconnect. Imperium double tanked all their Erebuss Titans as they knew they would be primary so they were tanking doomsdays like a boss. I can go on and on and on there was no way Panfam would be comming out ontop of this battle.

ok thanks man for these informations it help me a lot to understand how they didn't sustain anylose and how NC get genocided XD , yeah i saw on Zkillboard you double tanked your Titan i would have done the same it's smart :) , Panfam did a huge mistake , why did they do that wtf , btw do you know why Holy League didn't join the fight ?

Gaylord Williams My gues is that they either dont want to risk it or to keep their Titans down south to not let Legacy take all their toys north. I coulnt tell you but this is my best gues.

the frigs were fun. Love seeing that "target lock broken" at the top of your screen. Plus, it was meant to give our titans time to gtfo.

Love the vid! Love the game! Stopped playing years ago but aspire to making something like this one day.. Already made "EVE light" for mobile, ha (JSVeterans.com). Question: I tried to watch the uncut version and it was painful, is the sloth-like game-play because of the DDOS? Or if that was not going on would the servers have been able to handle the load(4600+ players) reasonably? By reasonably I mean at-least 50% of normal game speed. Thanks for the video! (posted on other video too, don't get mad please, just hoping for a few responses)

This is the third great battle in which imperium is part and that by incredible coincidence occurs an DDOs attack of which also coincidentally affects mainly the opponents of imperium.I being part of imperium alliances but I could not help but find this very suspicious because it is the third time already. What percentage of stations have survived an assault? It looks as though a station can't defend itself so why build one?

they can easily defend them self's but that is 500+ titans attacking the station. in short it cant kill the enemy fast enough. only take as much off the enemy it can with it. its dd was nuking dread naughts off the fleet in 5's.

Really awesome video! especially the BGM. btw. CCP must do something...obviously the servers can not catch up with the battle scale escalation. an epic fight finally ends with node crash while another with mass disconnection. the problem seems even far worse than that in both BR and 49 back in 2014.
