We should not rush to judgment in this case. Obviously the US Department of Justice (DOJ) would not have initiated the case unless they received a complaint by a competitor in the US. Who was the competitor that lodged a formal complaint against Adani Green Energy? Secondly a similar case against Walmart and its Brazilian subsidiary was settled for some $139 million by both DOJ and Security and Exchange Commission. But no individuals were charged. Why is the US government going against Indian officers of Adani Green Energy? Is it because we Indians are descendants of slaves while Walmart officers are descendants of slave masters? Think!
