How does this mount affect: crop factor, focus, lens flare etc?

Hi Enki, Crop factor is dependent on your camera, not the adapter. The adapter allows infinity focus with most lenses. Ultimately, it's on the lens and aperture in use. Flare is mitigated by the matte black internal surface area of the adapter (see the link in the description), but it's mostly a blend of quality of lens and knowledge. Hope this helps.

Not with this adapter, no. You would need to focus manually
