scizor is one of my favourite mons but not mega, design wise yes but not competitively. Regular scizor is already good mon, I always loved good megas of bad mons, kinda had this philosophy that megas were supposed to be that. so my favourites were lopunny same as you, beedrill is up there, gallade, mawile, manectric, pidgeot, pinsir, all those strong megas of weak or atleast low tier regular mons. Sharpedo, herracross, glalie, sabelye...

Day 2 of asking for spdef mega gyarados with thunder wave, eq, waterfall and power whip. Pair it with a Phys Def fini and they destroy rain. I use acceleroc lycanroc dusk aswell to get zapdos in range of waterfall for gyarados aswell + sash endeavour to stop sweepers and wallbreak
