My mother had brain surgery in India. It took 7 days from first diagnosis to get her surgery done. Five hours after the surgery my mother was awake and talking. Cost to us was around $1200 after insurance. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of the Indian private medical system. I hope Adar Poonawala and other Indian pharma companies will continue to provide this level of service to the world. Meanwhile in the US, it takes me a month to get an appointment for a general check up.

Serum institute vaccined almost all kids in Pune for free with swine flu vaccine. I also got free vaccine. 2 . Clean City initiative - his clean city vechiles literally does better job than government. I see their vechiles picking trash from south and east Pune throughout the day multiple times. 3 . Few guys are mentioning he is speaking about cheap labour . Point he is trying to make is indians are generally paid less compared to western countries in all industries. And trust me salaries in serum institute are really good as I have few frnds working in it. 4. They do lots of social work from education schorships to hospitals. I cannot mention everything here
