You should try Cowboy Bebop or Carole & Tuesday. Both are made by Shinichiro Watanabe, and both focus so much on music and how wild life can be. Both will make you a emotional wreck and are complete and short. Bebop is my personal favorite cause it was my first anime and its focus on jazz is so unique. Watch the original english dub cause the voice acting is so smooth and dont go near the netflix version.

I’m so happy you enjoyed Fruits Basket! It’s one of my favorite anime of all time!! I really want to collect and read the manga 😭 Horimiya I also really enjoyed. I want to read the manga for it as well. And omggg Code Geass was A RIDE! I haven’t watched it since high school lol. But if you want a cute and wholesome romance anime, I recommend Snow White with the Red Hair, it’s a great one! I also recommend Yona of The Dawn.

I also got into anime during pandemic because a friend would talk about it 😂 I’m actually in the middle of watching horimiya and loving it so far. I have also watched Kami-sama no Memochou which is a detective one and loved it. Kaichou wa maid-sama I thought was funny(school setting anime). I want to read Ao haru ride because my friend said it’s really good. I love your book wrap ups but talking about anime or other interests is good too I don’t mind.

Currently reading Horimiya Volume 1-5, I believe is season 1 I'm at Volume 10, its still adorable BUT!!! Volume 6 onward 😅😅 I 😶😶 hmmm, the exploration Hori and Miyamura done while being a couple. Specifically Hori, will surprise you. But other than that. Still adorable
