[ADAview] Making of New Layout for Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo Skytree Town Part 1
This is a documentary video that shows the making of a new layout at Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo Skytree Town on July 16-17, 2013.
Part1 introduces the making of two W180×D120×H60cm overflow aquariums. One is a layout mainly using Unzan stone & stem plants, and the other is a layout mainly using driftwood & Bolbitis. Another point to watch is how new layout materials Sansui Seki and Koke Ishi are used.

How do you clean those Aquascaped aquariums? It seems like a lot of work to me when I remember that already my normal aquarium takes like a day..

I agree with Dame Yang. When you set it up, you have to just make sure you get the balance right and get the ecosystem going, then the plants and livestock take care of themselves. Very minimal maintenance - maybe just trimming some overgrown plants and 20%-30% water changes weekly etc..
