I know Abira is the villain in this story but I kind of feel bad for her. They forced her to marry her dead sister's husband so that she could raise her niece. And her husband doesn't show her any kindness or affection. She's been living a loveless life as a glorified nanny. Of course she'd grow hateful and want revenge. Maria's mother's biggest mistake was thinking Areeba would love Noor more than another woman could because she was her aunt. Areeba doesn't even seem to remember Sobia when she's mistreating Noor like any other stepmother could have. And the way she whines incessantly about her marriage to Rehan like she was sent off to live with strangers as opposed to an arranged marriage within her family to someone she's known her whole life and wasn't much older than her, is really annoying. Her trying to pretend like she is victim when she was simply asked to love her sister's baby when she couldn't is really appalling.

Rehan is such a fool. Every other word out of Areeba's mouth is some sort of complaint against his mother or sister and then she immediately tells him not to say or do anything about it. If they're so awful, why wouldn't she want her husband to fix the situation if possible? And if it's not bad enough where she wants him to actually do anything, then why complain to him in the first place? And the pretending she spent the day slaving away in the kitchen really is just too much. Why after all these years is she still so unhappy and after these people?
