From what I can tell the actor who played this guy is actually very cheerful and relaxed. It's funny, because most of the time actors are good at what they do because the character they play is very similar to them. Another funny thing is the fact that the fictional Jerry Seinfeld is, personality-wise, just like Costanza, only his life turned out much better.

i have always felt all 4 characters were absolutely incredible and integral to the overall success of the show, but i truly believe that george was the cherry on the top. he was the ultimate glue that brought the ultimate laughs. kramer/elaine/jerry were all awesome, but none compared to george!!
