Having lived in swampy areas, knives, swords, machetes, etc really do come in handy for cutting through brush and vines. So excited to finally get green! It's the best color!

I think with every 'single color' piece you're getting better and better and really allowing yourself the creativity that you may hold back in other 'full color' pieces. Really love that dotted (stipling?) effect on her. Looks super cool. Feels a bit weird to me with the super dark pants, when you left the highlights on top/head in white. I would have probably done some sort of highlight on the pants as well. Then again, there's always the risk that it would have blended in with the background too much. That background is gorgeous, btw. Great amount of depth, and the trees are fantastic

Surprisingly enough I LOVE the results!! A green spider Gwen is very different but still looks cool. And I love the way you contrasted her from the background with really light and dark colors and a more simplistic shading style

I can see her blasted into an area from a portal where she was placed into a bad situation and she is having to fend off an attacker and taking the sword away (travel mishap something like the turtles in time movie). Hullo Anthony! Very nicely done. This reminds me of the very first heavily polarized Polaroid sunglasses I owned it turned everything green through the lenses of these sunglasses! I thought the green background looked amazing and had you not been curtailed by the ethics of the challenge a bright pink spider Gwen would’ve been fabulous in and over the top for this drawing something to consider for the future perhaps?
