Tex is the worst training partner of all time. Rips every submission and if you get any kind of advantage, he gets a bruiesed ego and goes nuclear. Very dangerous person to train with. Although he is a great coach. He has a lot of solid info to give you. But then he wont let you say no to a "roll" which is an adcc match every time. Lol.

I don’t really buy the damage aspect here - we’ve seen countless mma fights and the injuries described here (broken arms from punches, collapsed necks, etc) don’t occur there. The gloves wouldn’t prevent those injuries either as they actually allow for harder punches and don’t cushion the punch at all. Maybe the high volume of rounds is what caused these injuries to be more prevalent?
