Hi Linda, excellent video's!! I'm really new to this but have access to ponderosa pine needles so i'm ready to start weaving. Do you use Glycerin on your needles and do you have a reference for buying the thread and curved needles. What i find on some sites seems to be cheap and does not hold up. Thank you and keep making those video's. 🙂

I like to glycerin treat my needles. I have a video with my process. It’s called Glycerin treating pine needles for pine needle baskets. I’m writing in a video about threads.

Why you over wax thread?

The extra wax makes the color brighter. When I am finished I use a hairdryer for a minute to soften the wax. Then I rub it a little to make it shine.
