I tried this but put the needles side by side instead if one after the other and ... the plasma generator works too good. It clumps instantly and the chute clogs right away. Will try to move the needles and report back

If it clumps that means the wire insulation is not up to stuff. The voltage is over 2KV. Same thing happens to me, the coffee powder clog up at the electric needles, which is strange because the nearby needles (no electricity) which function as my declumper (like WDT) didn't clog. But the wire I used were only rated to 250V and insulation is thin (although it is teflon). After I replaced them with wires with thicker insulation, then no more clogging.

Hey, Arthur and Neo. Great idea. Where can one buy this plasma regulator? I didn't see it on your website. And will it work on other grinders?

Hi Bruce, haven't seen you for a long time! The actual application depends on the mechanism design of different models. We do not sell this product. you can refer to: haven't seen you for a long time! @@LaPavoniBPLUS the link leads to another model with already installed needles, only 100-120 V - and meanwhile simple Ionizers cost less than 5 USD this model shall cost 35 bucks.. is that correct?

EDIT: attempting this destroyed my grinder. I would not recommend this. Unless 1) you take the stator out or 2) you can afford to buy a new one if you damage the stator. Imo these instructions are too risky and should not be attempted. The motor stator is right under where they suggest you drill the hole to route the plasma generator wires. The lightest touch with the drill bit will break the stator's copper windings. There is no replacement available from Turin. I went to a motor repair shop who have a winder for a quote. I could almost buy two new grinders for the price to repair it. Then there's the fact that even if you do drill the hole without bricking your machine, you will struggle to route the wires as suggested. Finally, if you have the skill and tools to pull the stator, then yes, this is safe and easy and routing will be no problem. The rest of video instructions are pretty good. Just make sure you have the correct solder to do stainless.

No, the coil sits deeper inside the shell. if you proceed with caution, then it is perfectly OK. The shell is only 2-3mm thick (unless you hit its standoff post. It is best to drill upside down, so sawdust fall out. I drill horizontally, and need to dust off some of the sawdusts from the internal.
