(this comes from the heart) Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for making & putting up this video. I finally succeeded in getting my upcoming golf event to be listed on google in my area. You put this in to (what I was waiting for) layman's terms. It turns out that when I uploaded "event schema" on my wordpress site a few weeks ago, I needed "rank math" which I never found any reference to it. Then I just entered some keywords (on to google or youtube, I forget) after sweating out dozens of other avenues and "boom!", Im up & running! Thanks again. I'l refer to you when I need more help with my website.

Amazing! Thank you for explaining the Event Schema so well! QUESTION: Regarding the time, instead of looking up the UTC time for every event, can I simply add a -05:00 right after the date? Example: 2024-01-28T16:00:00 is what appears after using the date field. The event takes place on UTC-5. Can I just add -05:00 like this: 2024-01-28T16:00:00-05:00 ? Thank you!!

Hello, thank you for your comment. Yes, you can simply add -05:00 right after the date for an event that takes place on UTC-5. For example, you can change 2024-01-28T16:00:00 to 2024-01-28T16:00:00-05:00. This will accurately represent the time of the event in UTC-5. If you encounter any issues with Rank Math, you can always raise your question here rankmath.com/support/ and our support team would be happy to assist you.

This is a great and informative video, but do you have to fill this out for every event? Isn't there a way to populate the fields dynamically based on event details?

Great video and tips. Will events setup with Rank Math have a good chance of showing/listed up above competiors when there is no events shown in the searches now? Example: We are based in Denmark and results for searches like "online marketing course" ect. are only shown in Google as standard results. Can we benefit from making the schema setup for all our webinars, Live Q&A (Facebook group event) ect.? //Judith

Hello, thank you for your comment. If your website has posts or pages with content about public events, you should consider using the Event Schema type. And when you do so, your events become eligible for featuring under the Events Schema in Google search results. Here's our guide on how to add Event Schema markup: rankmath.com/kb/event-schema/ Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

Hello, Thank you for your comment. Sorry for the experience you had while using the plugin. Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month, and the chances are great that your website got hit by that. We have a full guide on that:rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/ And if you are using Rank Math PRO, you can even see if the drop in traffic co-relates to an algorithm update. Here's how: rankmath.com/kb/google-algorithm-updates/ Hope that helps, and let me know if you need my assistance with anything at all.
