Oof. I would never do this to my cosplay. You have balls dude. It's turning out great.

I recommend using pastry bags for puff painting as the original bottle tends to spat out occasionally due to air bubbles.
@brandonshand71874 жыл бұрын
how far does one bottle usually go
@DashMalone4 жыл бұрын
Good question. Depends really on nthe pattern and how thick the lines you make are

I’m afraid I would mess up on the puff paint if I were to do it on my suit. On a future suit I’m highly considering getting ZentaiZone to puff paint the webs on the Modern Classic suit I have planned for next year.

How well did this hold up to movement and washes?
@MidnaLink895 жыл бұрын
What other paint can you use on material like that? (Lycra) 🤷🏻♀️
@DashMalone5 жыл бұрын
Anything labelled as fabric paint. Usually craft stores have a lot

That’s the suit that I’m going to have when comes in the mail I also got the same one that you have

Really awesome dedication to detail. If you ever wanted to do this in a slightly faster way, you could always DIY screen printer out of an embroidery hoop and some woven fabric. That way, you can do it in patches and even have a gentle fade to higher/highlighted points where the fabric paint tapers off.

how do you flatten the puff paint? It comes out a bit too raised in all the other vids I've seen.

Love watching you get lazier and lazier as the job goes on. That's dedication.
@DashMalone6 жыл бұрын
Definitely did not get lazier cause I worked so hard to complete this for a con in a short amount of time. I really did rush and work long hours so I think the word your looking for is sloppier. I also had to use some puffy paint which has a lower viscosity than slick so its much harder to work with.
