Add Cruise Control to Ford Focus 2012-2014

I added the OEM cruise control to my 2012 Gen 3 Focus SE. This base model car did not come with cruise control. You need the steering wheel, and cruise control buttons from a car that came with factory cruise control (common at junkyards) . No clock spring needed. You then can program the IPC and BdyCM modules via Forscan and a windows PC. You will need the special adapter (like $25 on ebay/amazon). Interesting my air bag is plugged into the center electrical connector in addition to the yellow and blue connections for the horn which is mounted on the air bag unit. How are you connecting the horn on the air bag unit?

Hi! I own a Mexican ford focus 2014, and the steering wheel controls are in the left side for the computer and right side for the volume and stereo controls. Is there the possibility of change it of side? I mean to change side one from the other.

Hello dude. I have the ford focus 2014 without cruise control. If I buy a cruise from aliexpress I'm good with it or I need something else too? I can program it with forscan. So i need only the cruise button and I'm good?

you also need a different steering wheel to accomadate the cruise button. and yes you can just program it in via forscan. I would also consider buying the switch via ebay
