Question of curiosity: why did you take a sensor out of a light to put it in another light instead of just buying a sensor?

Hi, I like the old light fixtures better. The new light fixtures have the motion sensors, but they are actually inexpensive (~$15) flood lights. Also, installing them would require modifying the existing base.

How did you add the half inch threads? I can make a hole, but do you allow the sensor to thread into it? Great job!!

Hello can you make a diagram of the wiring installation from the motion sensor that came off the floodlight to another existing lights that K want to add from the senson. I have a flood light and there are three wires ,which are color black,white,and green. I assume the green is for ground. But on your video the is a red wire. Can you help🙏 thanks !

From experience, LED lights will only operate reliably with relay type motion sensors. FYI

Connect house neutral (white) wire to light(s) and sensor neutral wire. Connect house power (black) wire to only the sensor power wire. Connect load (usually red) from the sensor to the power (black) wires of the light(s). Done.

Sensor wire only came with black,white,& green. Do I consider the green wire as a red ? If I am not mistaken ,the green wire is for ground.
