i have a question? the white digital line counter, how do you put it on and off the rigger? i have the ones that slide on a off but wont come out because of the gear. i have an old rigger with the digital line counter but i cant figure how to get it off to put on my new one can you please help?

still requires a hand to use it...defeating the whole point, might as well hand crank it!.... With an electric downrigger no issue, it's the flip of a switch....

Louis Urquijo I was thinking if you had socket and bolt the same size of the threads on the downrigger and use JB weld to hold the bolt in the socket that should work.
