I prefer to make animations with Canva save them in Gif and put them quietly in Wordpress ... I try to delete any plugin that may no longer work correctly over time ... I saw and downloaded Lottie ... after 10 minutes deleted and went back to doing from me...

Thank you Raj. This was so helpful. I just run a tiny website for a club and it's always useful to know how to make it more animated rather than static. But so many things, even simple ones, require a large cheque book! I was playing around with Elementor - I just don't have the hours to put in to master it otherwise I'm sure it would do the job. But your Lottie idea is ideal; nice and simple. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and to explain it so well and in such a short time. PS - I love your Astra Theme too; it's one of the few I find which allows me to just get on with the job and it does the hard work for me. Thank you for that too. That's strange, Serge. Could you share some details on what the error/issue is?

@@BrainstormForce I did not want to spend time troubleshooting the problem so stayed with the embed option. After using json and saving the page, it all worked. But, when I reloaded the page, the animation wasn't there. I am using a cache from the WP Optimise plugin and thought it might have something to do that. I did not chase it up to try and resolve the issue, at this stage. Thank you for your reply. No errors were mentioned or displayed.

Doug, make sure that you're uploading the JSON file through the Lottie Widget, not the media library directly. Hope that helps. :)
