I purchased these BOV's and they look good but they are the most quiet BOV's I have ever heard in my life. I have to have the windows down and really be trying to hear them to actually hear them. Only time they are loud is when I'm driving at night on a dead silent road with no one else around, then I hear them just fine. Maybe once I get my intakes install I will get more sound?
@KDMCurt2 жыл бұрын
Intakes will definitely help with more sound but also make sure they settings on the BOVs are set properly. If the springs are set too soft you won’t build a good amount of pressure to make them go “pshhhhh”. I’ve revved mine next to my buddies who has the HKS’ and they are just as loud.

@DevArnold Жыл бұрын
Filter is just for emissions some states have a check every year for emissions and shit. Luckily kentucky doesn’t, so illegal tint and bov and exhausts and cst deletes and so on can be done, states with checks every year you have to change everything before you go in for your checks, or have like your filter installed since you’re releasing air back into the atmosphere, im assuming this is releasing air and not a full 100 circulation back to your engine
@xoxoj Жыл бұрын
What if I just take the hose out that’s there to recirculate the air and leave the stock BOV vented to atmosphere. Would that harm my engine in any way ? I’m tryna save some money for my catch can 😂
@KDMCurt Жыл бұрын
Actually that would be fine and is the most cost effective way of getting the BOV sound. The only thing you’ll need is those little rubber caps and hose clamps you see me put on the intake tubing at around 2 minutes in the video. What on earth are you talking about?? Ricer.. BOV are not ricer. "Ricer" is like a 3M front lip and fake stick on vents. Some BOV are more than $500. Haven’t had any issues with them yet. They are just blowing out extra air from the turbo’s that is usually circulated back into the intakes. As long as they are installed correctly and maintained properly you should be good to go. @@TooSynical oh dang I just remembered you have the 2.5L engine in the 2022 GT-Line right? They may not have a kit for that engine yet. They have it for the 2.0 and 3.3 but I’m not sure about the 2.5 yet sorry about that.
@dre_withthek16553 жыл бұрын
Do they have any for the 2.5 L?
@KDMCurt3 жыл бұрын
On their site they only list it for the 2.0 and 3.3 at the moment. You could email them and ask if it fits the 2.5, they also have a universal kit too but I’m not sure now similar it is.

Does this void the warranty?

If installed correctly (no damage to any other engine components) it should not void your warranty.
