Add Web Pages To Our Dental Website - Python Django Dentist Website #9

In this video we'll start to add new pages to our Dental Website using the template files that came with out template. Specifically, we'll add an about page, a pricing page, and a services page.
We'll extends base.html to each of them, and tweak the static tags for each one.
After this video we'll have to core of our website totally built out and functional!

Hi John! You are great! One question though, in urls.py in path statement why do enter for example 'contact.html' instead of 'contact/'? I mean why do you specify an html page instead of a url pattern?

It's just a matter of style. When websites first became a thing, all pages ended in .html and I'm old school. You can do it either way.

best course ever. i have an Error though, when i click dento icon on the homepage i get an error(Using the URLconf defined in dentist.urls, Django tried these URL patterns, in this order: admin/ [name='home'] contact.html [name='contact'] about.html [name='about'] pricing.html [name='pricing'] service.html [name='service'] The current path, index.html, didn't match any of these. please help. thanks

It looks like the link is pointing to index.html and you don't have that url in your app. use a django URL tag and point it to 'home'
