Babes, the sequel is so much better than the first film. The writer for the second film had just finished his first independent movie “Jeffery”, a gay camp classic and his work on Addams Family Values elevated the story so much.

Agreed. I used to joke with my late husband, "I'm Debbie." He was crown bald, and larger. I only said it when he was being ugly, I promise. lol Oh, btw, remember the girl who plays the girl scout in this one. You'll see her again, and apparently, as a young adult, she was in the Buffy series. I didn't recognise her there.

The movie does take a bit of liberty with the original comic strip and TV show, but all in all is a fantastic entry in the Addams Family lore. The sequel is even better (but save it for Thanksgiving 😉) In the originals, Wednesday is the younger child, Uncle Fester is Morticia's uncle not Fester's brother, and Granny Addams was Gomez's grandmother. Small changes, but they fit well here.

I've seen Death Becomes Her, but wouldn't be opposed to a Rewatch Commentary! Especially if wine is involved! I added But I'm a Cheerleader to the list because I've heard of it!

Okay, honey, you NEED some "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark!" Oh, and, here on YT, there was a couple seasons of very short "Adult Wednesday Addams" skit videos that the family permitted to remain up. The writer/actress is AMAZING, with it being totally dark humour. Yes, she serves that c. She rents. She attracts male attention. She gets a haircut. She passes by an abortion clinic being protested... #NoSpoilers. Oh, and P.S. gurl, since your clitter got all a twitter over Raul Julia, here's a 1980s drama for you, also starring William Hurt (who played the general in The Hulk). "Kiss of the Spider Woman." And for reals, I can't say anything about it without spoiling it, so there you go. Well, one thing. There IS nudity.

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark is on the schedule for October, love! 😊 I’ve seen a couple of clips of the Adult Wednesday shorts! Will have to revisit them because I rememeber chuckling 😂

Gomez - "We used to have to chain you to the bed!" Cuts to Morticia smiling coyly 😏 It pairs perfectly with her "Later darling..." when Gomez is lamenting her torments (that he missed out on 😉) I love the sexual humor in Addams Family. It's incredibly horny, but in a really tasteful way, and Gomez' love for Morticia is so wholesomely obsessive. It walks a razors edge of going over kids heads but also sure to awaken things in the future 😅 More movies need to be irrepressibly horny as the Addams Family movies are 😳 As someone else recommended, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark is a must watch in that regard. It paved the way for Addams Family's brand of gothic sexy humor. If you enjoy Hammer Studios movies (they were THE name in horror in the 60s) there is also Elvira's Haunted Hills, with Richard O'Brian (RiffRaff from Rocky Horror)

The actor, Carol Struycken, appears a lot in the 80s and 90s. Look for him in Witches of Eastwick, with Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Jack Nicholson (it's extremely horny 😉)

WAIT. I never saw that movie because I was too young BUT you just unlocked a memory! I remember the poster on billboards and bus stops lmao it was really simple but steamy! 😂 ADDING IT TO THE LIST!
