So so glad you are safe and came off trail when you did!! I’m glad that I put off doing the Foothills trail too! Last year it was the Northern part of the trail and this year it’s the southern part. Sounds like 2025 may be a better year I hope! 😊

Wow! Praying for your family and friends, including Sloth, who have all been affected by this most recent storm. Yes - I was watching Tara's FKT as she flew through the AT breaking records all along the way - CRAZY! Love that you were there to experience the breeze whiz around you as she climbed that mountain WITH you that day and went on to celebrate at Springer shortly after!
