This is one of the best tutorials I have ever watched! Speaker’s diction very clear. Instructions clear as well. Nicely done!

Just received the addi 46 and 22. Thank you for your tutorial. I read so many awful reviews on the Addi egg. I must say, your tutorial is the BEST WELL EXPLAINED TUTORIAL I’ve viewed by far. I’m convinced I will purchase an Addi egg very soon.

I found this tutorial quite by accident. Glad I found this one. I'm here and the date is August 18, 2022. I hope you still have the Addi iCord for sale. This tutorial helps a lot, thanks.

Thanks for this! I’ve been debating on getting the egg for a while and was worried because I had tried another brand for a similar purpose, but it was so confusing. Your tutorial makes it seem more straightforward and simpler than I thought it would be.

I got my Addi egg today. While watching your tutorial I made a perfect I-cord! So easy to follow. I’m so happy. Now just need to find uses for I-cords. I had the 46 and 22 so I asked for the egg for my birthday. Going to research uses for I cords.

OK this is one of the most awesome videos I’ve ever seen! I watched one other video of the egg and this one blows it out of the water! I’ve been subscribed for sometime. I’ve seen your online store and I am going to start an Etsy shop for my crochet items! You may have a new customer if I can’t figure out my stamping situation😊

This one is so frustrating for me, and I just broke a needle :( ! I love your tutorial though, thanks for the time you put into it. I'm hoping that once I get the replacement needles to try again maybe with other yarns, not sure why mine isn't being very nice

The twisting is becoming a big problem for me. I want to make an icord long enough to use as super thick yarn for a big blanket, but it is twisting so much, I don't know how I can ever get a whole ball done. Any suggestions?

Okay but how do you keep the icord from getting all twisted as it forms. Mine took another 20 minutes just to loosen it up after knitting
@debbiecarroll679410 ай бұрын
I have had 2 different Addi Eggs and cannot get them to twist. The first one broke and Addi sent me another one. It skips stitches like crazy. The yarn doesn’t slide on the needle like it should. Also the crank handle falls off all the time. I really want it to work. I’ve tried all the yarns I put in the 5 other knitting machines I have and it still doesn’t work like this. I am open to suggestions.

Hi, I have lost my egg weight so can't get my egg to work properly. I have found online that the weight of the egg machine is 0.2kg, but when I weigh the machine and subtract its weight from 0.2kg the weight I have made by this method seems too light. I can't find a replacement and wonder if some kind person would be willing to weight their egg weight and tell me how much it weighs so that I can make a replacement myself. I am getting very frustrated as the stitches keep building up.....

What do you use iCord for?
@lilacblossom55203 жыл бұрын
Thats what I 'd like to know, but I have found that by coiling the length and stitching together it can make a pretty bedroom rug, I'm making one for my granddaughter for her birthday, however I would love some more ideas if anyone has any!

Do you know if it's possible to use this machine to make an icord with 3 stitches so that you end up with a thinner icord?
@angieandbritt4 жыл бұрын
It's not. I do recommend the Tulip i-cord knitter for thinner i-cord. It's 4 stitches. We have them on our website and you can also find them on Amazon 🙂
@carmens11084 жыл бұрын
@@angieandbritt thank you for responding. As for the Tulip I-cord maker, it works okay to make i-cord drawstrings for knitted shorts or leggings then? Does it works well with fingering weight and other light weight yarns, do you know? Thanks again! 👏

It’s not working for me I’ve tried six times without success. It keeps bunching up on one or two pegs. Why is that happening.

I’m soooo frustrated with this machine. I’ve tried everything over 15 times no and it just keeps getting jammed up. I just tried again and followed your video and also tried very thin embroidery floss and also a smoother skinnier yarn and still no luck. It piles up on one needle 4 times and I don’t see it until it’s too late. I hate this thing right now. I put it up and I’ll think about it again next year. So frustrating... thank you for trying to help! I give up 😆

I had that problem too, but found if you keep the weight high up to the tube exit, it works perfectly, also don't crank backwards not even a little bit...I hope this helps ~

@angieandbritt4 жыл бұрын
Laura Edwards try holding it chest level and leaving your yarn on the floor. That's the most comfortable way for me.
@crochetcreations32323 жыл бұрын
Can you use clamps to hold the Addi to the table like the larger Addi? This looks so awkward. I have a Prym I-cord knitting mill that I bought because it came with a clamp. But I’d love to try the Addi since it is a little bigger. I have issues with tennis elbow so holding something up for long periods of time won’t work for me. Thanks.
