I see you guys did an episode on Lake Ontario and lake Michigan How about this summer (June July or August) PLEASE PLEASE do an episode like this on LAKE HURON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come enjoy our chinooks, coho, steelhead, pinks, browns lake trout and walleye !!!! Every time your rod goes off downrigging you never know what's on ! Our Lake Huron is a fabulous multi species lake. If you come to the Ontario side of Lake Huron I can hook you guys up with guides. You guys can also launch out of the Michigan side of Lake Huron if it's easier for you But regardless this coming summer 2024 please do a Lake Huron episode!!!!!!! Thanks guys Tight lines!!!

I was waiting for this. If you guys loved being in the lake, imagine being in Pulaski, NY. I love that place. That’s our home away from home. They have the famous pool right in town. We always get there around 3am to get a spot, so you can tell how packed it gets. I’m so happy we found one of your Alaska movies by mistake a couple years ago here in KZbin. Y’all are amazing. 🎣

I can’t believe that captain ran a slider when there was a board rig on the bottom. That slider runs right down when the fish hits and the flasher just twists around and around the slider. That break off was because you never run a sliders with a flasher rig. Glad you made it to Lake Ontario. Amazing fishery and my home waters

We run sliders with flashers all the time with no issues, the trick is to use swivel clips and not simple duolock clips. What I think happened was the super bait spun up with the slider - first time running these and didn't think about that bait spinning near the slider with a fish...

Right behind where you are shooting in the Niagara Gorge, you can get steelhead and salmon from shore. Right in that crazy fast water! Stop back out and visit during the fall. Good fun.

Because of failing eyesight I am going to use the addicted finishing bobber method.e I have purchased your mustad. I know the water very well. Great video and really looks like a fun fishery. So cool you guys were able to check off a bucket list trip. I gotta tell ya though I would lose my shit if every damn time a rod went off the guide felt compelled to be the fist one to un-rack it and do a hand off. Perhaps its just me, but I hate getting hand offs. Let me do it start to finish. I can see it if the clients are full on rookies but if he knows your a stick, stay outta the way!

This is funny, I have a friend who lives in NY out in the country. When he asked me to come visit he told me he would take me steelhead fishing. When I said "you have steelhead" he said yeah they had a great strain called Skamania stock, it blew me away cause I'm from Skamania county.

Finally catching up on the videos. Love this one!!! If y’all think our Lake Ontario steelhead are pretty. Come fish the Lake Erie tribs. The chrome puts Ontario to shame. Ontario steel head are definitely bigger but in lake sure they’re just so much fresher. Love living in buffalo where I have the option to choose between both lakes 😬

The Big Apple refers only to New York City, and is hundreds of miles from Lake Ontario. Most residents of New York State want nothing to do with the city. This is exactly why many people think the whole state is NYC. (Just like everyone from Illinois is from Chicago!) That being said, my Husband loves your show!!

We are puget sound fisherman and the lake looks great for a couple reasons, no kelp/ seaweed, and no tides. We do alot of jigging darts I wonder how that would do there.

You need to try the fall run in any of the tributaries out of the lake. I catch them between 28 lbs. to 36 lbs. on 8 lb. leader, with small circle hooks with salmon egg sacks.

the Cleveland, Ohio region has blown up in steelhead fishing popularity in the past few years with some awesome new techniques. when you go to Lake Erie, consider the eastern tributaries in fall and winter.
