Great video! I'm fishing different areas, but herring is a must while trolling in winter/spring. I'll often fish one rod with herring and another that I'll switch in and out with hardware. I've fished both the lower columbia river and in my neck of the woods for fish that are in the same portion of their life cycle and it's interesting how tactics can be so different from area to area!

For your next, Tips and Tricks, or what I would call it, Tricks-r-Treats, I suggest doing a vid, just on cleaning your setup with a soap. I can't tell you how much my catch rate changed for me after I started cleaning my stuff before doing any thing else. I use a gallon size Tupperware container as a sink, and a small brush. Lemon Joy with river water and your set!

I know In another video you mentioned using the mustard 3/0 hooks. Which model or product line of their hooks are you using with the tied spinner setups and herring. I’ve yet to try their hooks.

Any tips for additional scent to canned tuna for stuffing the Brad's Cut plugs? A drop of anise? Shrimp oil? Bloody tuna powder?

Down here in Northern California Central Valley rivers a super bait or brads cut plug technique is just starting to take off I know salmon up there and down here are diffrent but they both are still salmon so I have a question what color pattern is a must have this fall we’re expecting a big return they have just announced that we will have a three fish limit plus a new regulation on Jacks and I am stoked I got my fishing yak (THE KING ASSASSIN) ready to go got my electronics all figured out and I’m ready to fill the freezer but ya I’m not rich I just got out of the army so I’m not rich but I can afford to get a couple super baits and I want a couple good ones thanks a lot for your content and I am a huge fan and have been watching for years

Hey Addicted Fishing do you guys have any tips on catching tributary creek steelhead. Ive been fishing for them a lot this year in these little creeks and they are very dificult to catch in this shallow clear water. Im wondering how you guys would fish for them and with what baits and lures. Ive never gotten too many bites but did manage to catch 5 this year fishing this way. Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

It's all a waste of time if you don't mask the human scent. Salmon have sniffers more powerful than a dog. Does that mean you have to wear gloves? No, but everything should be super clean. I'm not a cultist about Lemon Joy either. Trader Joe's lemon hand soap works too. Most important point is . . cleanliness. See, your mom knew more than you think she did. Fall Chinook gear just needs to be clean enough. That's another rant.

Gloves do not make or break your day.. if your baits right and in the correct spot job done. They have great sniffers but can't just instantly id human sent lol. You cray cray
@spoonfishing4 жыл бұрын
@@egolawncare pfft bears and coyotes don't know when humans are around either, right? Ever go turkey hunting? Yeah the camo is just for . . looking cool. While it's true you can almost catch a fish on any given day doing everything wrong, percentages go up significantly when you fine tune everything and have all the little details in order. You're more likely get a good kiss with a girl if you DON'T have halitosis. So cray cray yerself.

@@spoonfishing I wasn't talking about hunting. I was referring to fishing. If it gives you the confidence to fish hard, good on ya.
