I tried calling an addiction helpline once when I was heavy in addiction and was crying for a way out. All they told me was sorry to hear of your struggle, please go to a detox/rehab and spend $15K which I don't have.

I used them to come down of cociane. It saved my life at the safe time ruined my life.

I know exactly what you mean saved my life yet ruined my life. That's a great point so many people don't talk about. How coke users even those who don't really like downers still end up using downers to come down.

@@Soberdogs It took the crash away for me and my girlfriend. At the time i was in my 20's. We lived together and we let some pill popper live with us. These pills made me fail in life. It was an excuse to do cocaine everyday. My story is similar to yours.

Hi Kyle (and co?), I'm from Canada and around every substance there is daily, as are those I care about. Southern Ontario specifically. We've been pretty hard hit here since long before COVID, I don't know if you travel or have any resources to guide me to but I need help and have no resources I can access without pay and as a homeless person my options are shrinking daily. Anything you can aim me at helps, and I'd love to connect and expand whatever programs we can to help. Drugs and alcohol are taking everything from me and those important to me. Please help any way you can, even if all you can do is reach out in any way at all. Much love, a young man in need of help.

Quick question, if you were on very hard drugs how come you look healthy now as if you never touched them? Did it take a while?
